Agnee (2014 film) directed by Iftakar Chowdhury and starred by Mahiya Mahi & Arefin Shuvo surpassed earlier records of all Bangladeshi films. It grossed 1.5 crore BDT on its opening day, 14 february and net total of 6.7 crore till now and still rolling.
It made history in several branches. As per producer's trust, female focused movies do fail in box office. But this film cracked their views, really.
